You know who's not always pictured in our chorus photos? The guy taking the chorus photos. Topher, our VP of Marketing, puts a heroic level of energy into documenting the chorus, capturing amazing / hilarious moments, and keeping us all in good spirits. During our week at Harmony University, he even created photo packets for each singer (and coach!) to memorialize the week. He's one of a kind, and we appreciate him so much! Thanks, Topher, for all you do!

This Tuesday, members of the chorus participated in National Night Out, visiting block parties to bring music and cheer to the neighborhood! Thanks to quartets Top of the Hill (pictured) and FourEver Young, along with a VLQ of chorus members, for sharing with the community! After our rehearsal, we had a fun crowd for afterglow. It's great to be a Rain City Voice!

"If you've done it once, that's the standard!" That's the saying of the week in our three hour coaching sessions! We're excited to put that into our performance on Friday night at University of Denver !

RCV & VCR! We had a small group compete in tonight's tag contest at Harmony U. Our group titled "VCR" won Best Chorus. We've officially made it as an "Award" Winning Chorus!

Day 1 We had our first day of Chorus Coaching at Harmony University today. So many breakthroughs and new opportunities were found through our coaches! We are excited for the week ahead!

Guess what the chorus is doing this week!! Around half of us are converging on Denver to participate in Harmony University! We'll be coached as a chorus for three hours each day (along with taking classes that we want to take individually), and will perform in the Friday evening show to demonstrate our growth! Travel day is in the books! About 26 of us made the trip to University of Denver, Colorado for Harmony University 2025. We'll post a few photos after each day so you can see what the days are like here through our eyes! Today there was an Ice Cream truck for a fun Opening Night Party! We had such a fun time with @lsquartet last night! We had a packed house full of guests from near and far to observe Lemon Squeezy coach our chorus & quartets. We also got to celebrate our director Elizabeth Davies being inducted as the 2024 Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society Barbershopper of the Year! We are incredibly lucky to have her leadership in our chorus. Thanks to everyone who came out last night!

Lots of Rain City Voices singers are spending this weekend in Tacoma at Harmony College Northwest doing all the fun barbershop things! A handful of chorus members have been participating in Harmony Platoon, and this year's winning quartet features two RCV-ers, CC and Nathan! Great job you, two! Join us tonight at 7pm for the Harmony College Northwest wrap-up show, featuring some RCV-affiliated quartets, and headliner Lemon Squeezy! It will be amazing!

Did the chorus have five guests at rehearsal last week? Why yes, yes we did! And did the chorus have two brand new guests this week? Again, yes. Some chorus members spent part of our Thursday evening supporting our friends in Sound Harmony Chorus as they prepare for the upcoming Sweet Adelines region 13 convention coming up this month.
