Some of our chorus members have been in Denver this week, meeting with barbershoppers from all over the world to learn, sing, and grow... Four chorus members participated in the HU Harmony Brigade, and one of us even sang in the first-place quartet! All of our chorus member made it to the finals, no less. You probably haven't heard of RCV's Angel Fund... This has, up to now, been an entirely internal program in which chorus members contribute to a fund, which is used on behalf of members for whom some of our programs and activities might be financially out of reach. The Top of the Hill quartet provided entertainment for the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Leif Erikson Hall in Ballard this week! Congrats to this neighborhood institution, and cheers to Top of the Hill for spreading barbershop joy.

Looking for a chance to sing this weekend? Memorial Day weekend means Folklife. And Folklife means a full weekend of participatory singing on the festival's Cornish Courtyard stage! Come see Rain City Voices on Sunday at 3PM -- we'll sing a little, and will be teaching short pieces of music, called tags, to sing with you. It's a great chance to try out barbershop singing in a fun environment. We want to sing with you!!

Non-profit chorus wrangling is a science. And sometimes that science needs a committee to identify the BEST sci-fi themed drink to sell at our upcoming summer show!
