A Barbershop Ode to Sound Transit
A big congrats to Sound Transit on the opening of the full 2 Line, connecting light rail across Lake Washington! We sang a modified version of an old barbershop standard (The B & O Line) to celebrate the opening of the Northgate Link Extension a few years ago -- check it out to get in the spirit for today's transit expansion! https://youtu.be/gDHs6SNhj9M1

RCV Afterglow
What can we say? We have so much fun each week rehearsing, but the Rain City Voices afterglow game is STRONG. We had 23 folks come out on Tuesday for some post-rehearsal fun -- and even more singing! Some of us lasted until closing, and celebrated outside the bar with a last tag of the evening, topped off by an exploding transformer across the street. Music is POWERFUL, y'all. Come join us for an upcoming rehearsal, and definitely don't miss the epic RCV afterglow scene!

Division II Contest!
We were elated with our second place finish in the Division II contest this morning in Salem! Photos and videos will all come, eventually, but in the meantime, thanks to our fearless leaders (Andy and Tyler) who managed this experimental attempt to sing undirected in a competition setting. Cheers to all and thanks to the Salem chapter for running an excellent event!

Coaching with Theresa Weatherbee
We had so much fun with BHS Performance Judge Theresa Weatherbee last night! Did we come up with a hilarious and ridiculous plan for one of our summer show songs? Yes, we did. But we also thought about identifying as performers and really started to take ownership of the stage. It was a super night -- thank you, Theresa!!
