Video has dropped from our performance at the Evergreen District Convention earlier this month in Boise, Idaho! We had so much fun putting our story out on the stage, and we always love connecting with our EVG family.

We're back from our exciting EVG Convention weekend in Boise, and are raring to go, welcoming five guests this week during our rehearsal! This is a great time to check out our chorus, as we begin to prepare for our holiday show. Let us know if you have questions!

Around a dozen Rain City Voices folks participated in Harmony Platoon this year at the annual convention in Boise. We had a ton of fun - it was great singing with you, fellow EVG singers!

As we enter the final stretch before our upcoming District Convention in Boise this coming weekend, we got to hear quartet run-throughs from two of our chorus-affiliated quartets. We'll be rooting for you, Sounds Familiar and Desperate Measures!! Break a leg!

Both Rain City Voices and our sister Sing United chorus, Sound Harmony, performed for the crowds at the Shoreline Farmers Market over the weekend! It was a true variety pack, including songs Sound Harmony is preparing for the upcoming international contest in Ohio, Rain City Voices songs that we're preparing for our upcoming convention in Boise, along with combined choruses songs from our summer show, some Harmony Platoon performances, and some pick-up quartet singing. Thanks

Singers got together this weekend to continue to polish our Harmony Platoon songs for our upcoming visit to Boise at the beginning of October. We're excited to see our Evergreen District friends in a handful of weeks!

If you're part of the barbershop community in the Northwest, they don't need last names for you to know who we mean. Big thanks to Phil Grant and Donya Metzger for joining Rain City Voices as we polish our district songs! The are a fantastic one-two punch of a duo, and we had a great time focusing on both resonance matching AND embodying the character of an alien.

We had so much fun celebrating again this year with Aegis Living at their second annual Great Summer Social! Congratulations on a great event!

Another week, another sing-in! (Yes, this is our third week in a row singing in a new member!) Welcome to Terence, our newest bass! And thanks to our four - FOUR - brand new guests who visited this week, too!

It's Platoon time again! Rain City Voices is proud to participate in our local Harmony Platoon activities in a big way, and chorus members get together to prepare, too. The next Platoon is coming up in advance of the EVG Convention in Boise in early October. If you're in the Puget Sound area and prepping those same platoon songs, and are interested in joining us for our practice / run-through time, reach out! We have two more sessions scheduled -- both in September. We'd love

Fresh Faces Alert!! We've been very happy to sing in two new members in the last two weeks! Welcome to Jonah and Matt! We had four guests last week, too, and are so happy to keep finding new singers to share our love of barbershop with. Come and join us some Tuesday! Welcome, Matt!! Welcome, Jonah! We sing our welcome song to four guests!

We've been rolling out the appreciation gradually, after our summer show a few weeks back. Here's what we can tell you for sure. This show wouldn't have been possible without the amazing Jamie stepping up to wrangle two whole choruses worth of folks for this show. She was patient but decisive, and the proof is in the pudding! THANK YOU, Jamie for all you put into Starbershop! And, though it may go without saying, we've gotta say it. From script idea / writing to weekly rehear

Some of our chorus members have been in Denver this week, meeting with barbershoppers from all over the world to learn, sing, and grow... Four chorus members participated in the HU Harmony Brigade, and one of us even sang in the first-place quartet! All of our chorus member made it to the finals, no less. But a big congrats to Andy and the rest of the No Tones on their win! Cheers also to Tyler and Kristi, in the Guten Tag quartet, and Greg and Andy for their performance in t

If you were at our summer show, you'll know that, in addition to leads, we had an amazing ensemble cast rounding out the storytelling crew. Cheers to these folks for providing tons of laughs and bringing heart to our show!

Photos are in from our summer show, Starbershop: an a cappella space odyssey! Today we celebrate our leads, David (who played John Robinson), Tara (who played Angelica), and Chris (who played the Professor). They told our Starbershop story so beautifully and hilariously - thank you all for all the hard work you put into prepping for such important roles! Our main leads! Tara as Angelica Ripley David as John Robinson Chris as The Professor

You probably haven't heard of RCV's Angel Fund... This has, up to now, been an entirely internal program in which chorus members contribute to a fund, which is used on behalf of members for whom some of our programs and activities might be financially out of reach. A handful of our members got support to attend Harmony University last summer, for example, and that was an incredible journey for the chorus. We were so glad to have so many of us participate!
