Looking for a great Christmas tree? The chorus has long supported the Queen Anne scout troop at their tree lot! The trees are fresh and there are lots of return customers every year. Come visit and get your tree, wreath, garland, and mistletoe! The scouts will get you all squared away, and if there are enough chorus members pitching in, we may serenade you with a song. RCV is proud to be featured on BHS's Harmony University post this week! Our chorus had an incredible time in the chorus coaching track at Harmony University this summer. We had all-star coaches, growing as singers and as a chorus over the course of the week. HU comes highly recommended from Rain City Voices! We hope to see you there!!

Ho, ho, ho! It's less than three weeks until Figgy Pudding! Our chorus has been so proud to support this event, and this cause for many years. The Pike Market Senior Center & Food Bank relies on funds raised during this festive event to do its great work all year through. We'd love to see you downtown on December 6 at noon for LOTS of good music and good cheer! Can't join us? Live on the other side of the country or world? No worries! We're hoping to raise $1500 for the cause

It's that time! Sure, Halloween is over a week away, but for singers? It's Yuletide, baby! We've been at work on Christmas songs for a couple of weeks already, and we had our first joint rehearsal with Sound Harmony Chorus  last night to really get ready for our upcoming holiday show! We don't have official photos yet, but we couldn't help but shout out the news -- Rain City Voices got THIRD place at this weekend's Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society  convention! This is our highest placing in over 30 years, and our largest contingent on stage in that time, too (45 singers!). This weekend is off to an amazing start! We're so proud of the RCV folks who took part in Harmony Platoon this weekend in Surrey! We had well over a dozen chorus members participating, singing in pick-up quartets with other Evergreen District of the Barbershop Harmony Society  members in friendly quartet competitions. Want to hear a great story? We had a guest at rehearsal this week who discovered the chorus because his partner happened across the chorus singing in Carkeek Park a couple of weeks ago for our 75th anniversary celebration! We had our last Harmony Platoon prep session this weekend. Thanks to Andy and Kristi for hosting us all platoon season long and for our extra-special BBQ afterglow session to end our monthly meetings. So much fun and good singing!
